Sveriges Ridgymnasium AB is a stable organization that has been operating for 20 years. Today, our schools are located in four locations across the country. We are dedicated to staying at the forefront of developing our schools and our pedagogy, with collegial learning being a top priority. Sveriges Ridgymnasium's vision is to be Sweden's best high school option for students interested in equestrian sports, and our goal is to provide our students with the best possible conditions to develop their passion for horses and their talents, while also receiving a solid high school education that leads them forward in life, regardless of their chosen path. In Kungsbacka, our second high school was established in 2007. The school is located at Höglanda Gård. Here, 22 staff members work with nearly 100 students distributed across the school's three year groups. The students study the Natural Resource Program, specializing in Horse Management.
What You'll Be Working On
We are seeking a special educator as the current special educator is expanding their role at one of our other school units.
The position is part-time at 50%, permanent with a 6-month probationary period. The start date is in January 2026 or by agreement. There may be an opportunity to combine the position with some teaching or administrative tasks (such as scheduling) depending on qualifications and interests. The administrative tasks could correspond to approximately a 25% position, which could be added.
Who You Are
We are looking for a qualified special educator who wants to work at a nature-oriented school with a big heart.
We would appreciate it if you have good IT skills, as you will be working in several different operational systems such as ProReNata, SchoolSoft, Teams, and Office 365.
As a person, you possess strong leadership qualities. You are attentive, structured, unpretentious, and present. We expect you to have good collaboration skills with students, guardians, colleagues, and school management, and to prioritize building trusting relationships.
