We are seeking a Swedish language teacher who wants an exciting, varied, and meaningful job. With us, you'll have the opportunity to teach, develop educational programs, and meet people who want to grow both linguistically and professionally.
Job Responsibilities
In your role as a teacher, you will work with Swedish language instruction linked to our vocational training, combination programs, apprenticeship programs, and commissioned education. You will adapt, plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on individual student needs.
Within adult education, you will be part of various work groups, such as teams for developing our educational programs, our healthcare lab, etc. As the adult education mission constantly evolves based on demand and needs, additional tasks may be assigned.
Your location will be at the Learning Center (Acusticum), where we work in an activity-based environment. Opportunities to work remotely one day per week are available.
Qualifications
We are seeking a qualified and licensed Swedish language teacher.
As a person, you are flexible, committed, and outgoing. We want someone with good computer skills and interest in using technical aids in teaching. You should have a strong ability to plan your instruction both independently and in collaboration with others. We appreciate creativity and the ability to think innovatively to contribute to the development of adult education programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience teaching people who are not native Swedish speakers
· Experience in healthcare and social services sectors
A Class B driver's license is required.
About the Position
Permanent employment, vacation employment, full-time.
Start date by agreement.
Teaching certification must be attached to your application.
