Montessori Mondial is located in Kristianstad, Malmö, Ystad, Linköping, Lund, Stockholm, and in August 2024, we are launching Montessori Mondial in Lidingö. We are a K-9 school with approximately 150 students and a preschool with around 50 children, located in the premises previously belonging to Vittra Lidingö. The school is a stone's throw from Grönsta gärde and only 10 minutes by bus from Ropsten metro station. Certified Teacher in Swedish and Social Studies At Montessori Mondial Lidingö, we are seeking a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish and Social Studies who sees, challenges, and supports our students in their knowledge development to reach their full potential. The position is aimed at students in grades 7-9. You will be part of a team that you work closely with and will have close collaboration with the school's teachers and other staff. We strive to have all pedagogical staff at Mondial schools participate in joint study days where all employees are part of the collective quality work. Montessori Mondial Lidingö has a high school that goes on exchange trips in Europe every year. We work from a strong sustainability perspective at the school. Your Mission You are a teacher in Swedish and Social Studies, responsible for developing pedagogical work with colleagues, in accordance with the curriculum for primary school. As a subject pedagogue, you always put students and their knowledge development at the center and maintain continuous contact with students by documenting and discussing their knowledge development. You will also serve as a mentor for 9th grade. There is an opportunity to take on the role of team leader for grades 7-9. As a team leader, you are a link between the management group and the team. You are responsible for leading and driving the processes and change work decided by school management, focusing on the school's goals and ensuring that the team works on follow-up and evaluation of operations to improve student goal achievement.
