About this role

We are now seeking a qualified teacher in Swedish and English for a 50% position (four days a week) starting in January 2026. You will serve as a mentor and be part of a team at the middle school level, teaching students in grade 5. Together with highly skilled subject colleagues at Carlssons School, you will discuss and develop the curriculum in subject groups. Carlssons School is located in Östermalm, Stockholm, and is a non-profit organization where parents with children in the school are members. The school has 688 students from preschool to grade 9. Each grade consists of three classes with ambitious and engaged students. The results for our ninth graders are among the highest in the country, something we are extremely proud of. Carlssons School works with systematic quality assurance, and the students' excellent results are built on our dedicated and development-oriented educators who have extensive experience and motivation. The position is a fixed-term employment at 50% during the spring term of 2026, with the possibility of a 100% permanent position starting in August 2026.
