About the Role
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work to ensure and develop quality work within the organization's processes, focusing on suppliers, production, and assembly. The role involves following up and analyzing results, identifying improvement areas, and driving actions to both ensure and raise quality.
You will become part of the quality department and be responsible for ensuring goods and service deliveries meet applicable requirements from goods receipt to finished product. The work combines analytical ability and practical understanding of manufacturing processes.
You will work closely with colleagues in purchasing, production, and technology, and maintain continuous contact with suppliers to follow up, analyze, and drive quality improvements.
Example Tasks
• Perform root cause analyses and manage quality deviations – identify, analyze, and drive solutions to problems in deliveries or processes
• Review existing suppliers, certificates, and quality documentation, and ensure agreed requirements are followed
• Participate in and develop quality processes related to purchasing and production
• Contribute to continuous improvement of routines and working methods within supplier quality
About You
We are seeking someone with a technical background and several years of experience from an industrial environment. You have an analytical ability, thrive in a role involving both data analysis and practical problem-solving, and enjoy collaborating with different business functions. You are meticulous, methodical, and adept at creating structure in your work.
You excel in a role where you can take responsibility, analyze deviations, and drive improvements together with others – always with the goal of delivering the highest quality.
Requirements
• Option 1: Experience from manufacturing industry, in a role connected to quality work
• Option 2: Experience as a preparation engineer or production technician combined with relevant education
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written
• Understanding of supplier quality, purchasing, and production
Meritorious
• Experience with root cause analysis and deviation management
• Experience with supplier assessments
• Knowledge of different manufacturing methods
• Previous experience from roles as quality engineer, production technician, or preparation engineer
