We are currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for our Supplier Quality department. You will play a crucial role in collaborating with our suppliers to ensure the quality of complex systems and functions as we strive to become "No 1 in the World." As a Supplier Quality Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to continuously work on securing the quality of TMHE's suppliers. Your tasks will include:
* Leading and driving improvement initiatives by training and introducing suppliers to TPS - Toyota Production System. Much of this work will take place on-site at our suppliers' locations.
* Collaborating with the purchasing department to qualify new suppliers and monitor the performance of existing ones.
* Working with our development department and suppliers to ensure quality in the design and manufacturing processes of new components/systems in our development projects.
* Preventing and addressing quality deficiencies at suppliers by independently conducting process audits, supplier assessments, and follow-ups.
* Participating in our activities related to long-term sustainability efforts for our supply chain.
For the position of Supplier Quality Engineer, we are looking for someone who has/is:
* A technical education or equivalent work experience.
* Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
* Energetic, analytical, and systematic, with a desire to drive and develop new working methods with our suppliers.
* Enjoys leading and training people. In your daily work, you will interact with individuals at all levels within our suppliers, both nationally and internationally, which requires strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and a positive atmosphere.
