The geographical area has strong growth, and within our Area Manager North South region, we need to strengthen our operations with a driven Supervisor. This is the role for you who are seeking an independent job with great development opportunities in a business that constantly works on improvement.
As a Supervisor in quarry operations, you will plan, lead, and distribute work and resources, which means you will:
• Ensure that the facilities you are responsible for comply with applicable permits
• Ensure production occurs according to annual production planning and established quality frameworks
• Ensure production is as efficient as possible based on market demand
• Ensure sampling is conducted in accordance with control programs/control plans
• Ensure regulatory compliance with our safety and protection rules through active workplace health and safety work
• Have supervisory responsibility for subordinate personnel
• Responsible for creating good cooperation with subcontractors and customers
There will also be opportunities to influence the job content through various development projects, such as building and planning the operation of a reception and recycling facility, as efficient logistics and a high focus on recycling rates of all incoming materials will constitute an increasingly significant part of our operations.
You will have committed skilled workers and subcontractors to support you. Your work area will be quarry operations in and around Dalarna. You will report to the responsible Site Manager in the area.
Requirements:
• Several years of experience in crushing operations or construction industry
• Previous experience leading subordinate personnel
• Minimum technical high school education
• Good computer skills and some administrative work experience
• Preferably experience with recycling, circular solutions, and excavation material reception
You are a driven and committed person who wants to lead and create results together with us. You are meticulous, communicative, and relationship-oriented, seeing the value of developing good relationships with colleagues and subcontractors.
The position is a permanent employment primarily located between Falun and Borlänge. Work will also be conducted at other facilities in the area. A probationary period may be applied if needed. Since the position involves area travel, a B driver's license and access to a car are requirements.
