JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of study counselor involves supporting students in transferring knowledge from their native language/school language to Swedish. The goal of study guidance is to provide students with the opportunity to develop tools for their own learning and continued education, therefore the study guidance needs to be alternately conducted in Swedish and the native language.
Study guidance may take place across multiple schools in the municipality depending on where the students are located.
QUALIFICATIONS
We prefer candidates with a pedagogical education and experience in study guidance and/or native language instruction. An advantage is familiarity with the Swedish school system, Swedish school language, curriculum, and other governing documents applicable to the operation. To function as a study counselor, your Swedish must be well-developed.
A B driver's license is required as the position may involve multiple schools.
