JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a study guidance counselor, you need to have the competence to map newly arrived students' knowledge levels. Study guidance can be conducted together with another teaching staff member or independently with a small number of students. As a study guidance counselor, you will maintain continuous dialogue with the class's teaching staff to follow up on students' progress and results. Study guidance may be implemented across all school units in the municipality.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a qualified study guidance counselor. You have excellent skills in both spoken and written Swedish and Ukrainian/Russian. You are well-versed in and understand the importance of working according to school governing documents and have a strong ability to clearly and passionately organize and lead work for students' optimal development.
Education with a pedagogical focus is meritorious, and previous experience in pedagogical work in Swedish schools is desirable. You are confident in your teaching role and have the ability to create a positive work climate and studious environment in student groups. You have a good ability to include students needing support and are challenged by finding additional adaptations to help each student reach their full potential in knowledge development.
You have strong collaborative skills and are clear in your communication. You can take initiative and work independently. You are structured and creative in your approach and have a genuine desire and great interest in helping students achieve their goals.
Additionally, you have good computer skills and knowledge and experience working with various digital systems and conducting remote or distance learning.
A Class B driver's license is required for this position.
