About the Workplace The Study Guidance and Native Language Teaching Unit currently has 20 employees speaking 18 different languages. Organizationally, the unit is located under Gröna Dalen School, one of the municipality's primary schools, with the school principal serving as the unit's manager. Job Responsibilities The school is now seeking language qualifications in: Filipino, Spanish, and Urdu. These are part-time positions ranging from 10%-30%. As a study guidance counselor, you will work in one of our school units with good transportation access, employed at one of our centrally located primary schools in Håbo Municipality. The work involves language-specific guidance in accordance with curriculum guidelines, lesson planning in close collaboration with subject teachers and the student's mentor and class teacher. You will have regular contact with mentors, class teachers, and subject teachers, as well as your colleagues within the unit. You are expected to participate in workplace meetings, study days, and training days. As a native language teacher, you will be a clear, confident, and pedagogical leader in the classroom, focusing on student development and goal achievement. You should be well-versed in grading systems, curricula, and assignments. Qualifications We are seeking candidates who can provide student guidance, have a pedagogical education, and possess excellent Swedish language skills. The same applies to native language teachers. The role requires flexibility, attentiveness, good collaborative abilities, and the capacity to work independently. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has experience working as a native language teacher and/or study guidance counselor. You speak and write Swedish proficiently, are flexible, and have strong collaborative skills.
