JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a study counselor, you need to have the competence to map newly arrived students' knowledge levels. Study guidance can be conducted together with another teaching staff or independently with a small number of students. As a study counselor, you will maintain continuous dialogue with the class's teaching staff to follow up on students' progress and results. Study guidance may be implemented across all school units in the municipality.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have excellent skills in both spoken and written Swedish and Arabic. You are well-versed in and understand the importance of working according to school governing documents and have a good ability to clearly and passionately organize and lead work for students' optimal development.
Education with a pedagogical or behavioral science orientation is meritorious, and experience in pedagogical work in Swedish schools is desirable. You are confident in your teaching role and able to create a positive working environment and study atmosphere in student groups. You also have a good ability to include students in need of support and are challenged by finding extra adaptations to help each student reach their maximum potential in knowledge development.
Furthermore, you have strong collaborative skills and clear communication. You can take initiative and work independently. You are structured and creative in your approach and have a will and great interest in helping students achieve their goals.
You have good computer skills and knowledge and experience working with various digital systems and conducting remote or distance learning.
A B driver's license is required for the position.
