JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Work and Learning Department - the department for full employment - has approximately 200 employees and works from a holistic perspective where labor market, educational, and integration issues intersect and are managed.
As a student employee stationed at Bergendahlska Gården, you'll take on a kind of supervisor role and be part of a team working to offer meaningful leisure activities for youth. Daily work involves delivering the best possible reception and service to everyone visiting Bergendahlska Gården. The job includes good collaboration and presence at the municipality's other meeting places.
Job tasks may include:
• Offering, developing, and participating in activities/programs for youth, primarily during evenings and weekends.
• Contributing to safety and well-being in and around Bergendahlska Gården.
• Creating relationships and working preventatively and norm-setting in daily interactions with youth in the program.
• Planning and executing activities such as holiday programs and events.
• Supporting youth leaders in implementing activities and events.
• Conducting lectures and workshops.
• Coordinating and collaborating with other meeting places and programs.
Working hours are primarily during evenings and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are now seeking someone with an ongoing education focused on areas such as children and youth, preventative social work, and behavioral science. Advantageous with interest in music and/or norm-setting and preventative youth work, and/or interest in LGBTQI issues. You should have completed at least 120 ECTS credits within your education to be considered for the position.
Interest and experience working with youth in a developmental environment is advantageous. It's important that you have a genuine interest in working with youth in various life situations, with the aim of motivating and guiding them towards a valuable leisure time in social and norm-setting contexts.
You are confident, flexible, stress-resistant, have social competence, and a pedagogical approach. You have good collaborative abilities but can also work independently. It's important that you want to work on developing the program in collaboration with other actors, such as non-profit associations and organizations.
