Your Mission:
As a student information representative, you'll work with your team to help Vision grow as a trade union by recruiting new student members at your university. Primary tasks include classroom presentations, information booths, and participation in career fairs and job markets. You'll also handle marketing and stay informed about developments at your specific university. You and your team will drive local operations and membership growth, supported by your operations or section manager.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
• Is a student at Gothenburg University
• Is social and outgoing
• Works well in teams
• Is responsible, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Is results-driven and enjoys working towards goals
• Is creative
• Has excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
We Especially Value Experience:
• In service and/or sales
• With at least 1 year remaining in your studies
• Of engagement in student life
The position is a fixed-term contract for approximately 15 hours/month per semester. Starting wage is 140 SEK/hour, excluding vacation pay, with potential for semester-based increases. We expect you to share union movement values, but no prior knowledge of Vision or unions is required - we'll provide that training.
Employment starts in January 2026, beginning with an introductory training at Vision's office in Stockholm on January 14-15.
