Your Assignment:
As a student information officer, you'll work with your team to help Vision grow as a union by recruiting new student members at your university. Your main tasks include classroom presentations, information booths, and participation in career fairs and job market events. You'll also handle marketing and stay informed about developments at your specific university. You and your team will drive local operations and membership growth, supported by your operations or section manager.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
• Is a student at Uppsala University
• Is social and outgoing
• Collaborates well in teams
• Is responsible, proactive, and solution-oriented
• Is results-driven and enjoys working toward goals
• Is creative
• Has excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
We Prefer Candidates Who:
• Have experience in service and/or sales
• Have at least 1 year remaining in their studies
• Are or have been engaged in student life
The position is a fixed-term semester contract of approximately 20 hours/month. Starting wage is 140 SEK excluding vacation pay, with potential semester-based increases. We assume you share union movement values, but no prior knowledge of Vision or unions is required.
Occasional work-related travel may occur during the semester to visit other universities in Eskilstuna and Västerås.
Employment start date is January 2026, beginning with an introductory training on January 14-15.
