We welcome you to apply for this position! **Your Role** - Serving in physical support, i.e., meeting users and assisting them when they need help, such as with loans and inquiries regarding library services. - Book shelving and shelf cleaning - Collaborating with digital support on issues that require in-person assistance for users - Other tasks typical of a university library, primarily circulation work and management of physical collections (e.g., labeling books) You will receive ongoing training related to the work in physical support. Guidance will be provided by experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive colleagues who will also introduce you to the work. **Who Are You?** You are enrolled in an undergraduate program in library and information science, preferably in the early stages of your studies. You have a curious attitude towards IT and find it easy to learn new systems. You need to be able to combine your studies with working during the day on a fixed day each week. It is an advantage if you also meet one or more of the following criteria: - Experience in customer service/service roles - Experience working in libraries, preferably as a student assistant in a university library - Experience with Microsoft 365 We place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.
