Västernorrlands Regiment with Jämtland Ranger Corps, I 21, was re-established in 2022. The unit operates in three locations; Sollefteå, Östersund, and Härnösand, and is responsible for training and maintaining two independent infantry battalions and a military base.

About the Position
As a Combat Management Officer, you will serve as a staff member in the training battalion's staff. Most of your work occurs in a short time horizon and requires high ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
As a Combat Management Officer, you will:
• Be responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of unit activities
• Support the section's responsibility for maintaining an accurate situational awareness and promptly preparing and handling emerging tasks
• Lead preparations with other staff sections and subsequently be responsible for breaking down and producing orders within the framework of operational activities

• Previous military professional experience

• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English

Other Details
Employment Type: Full-time military permanent position. The Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.

Individual salary is applied at the Armed Forces, and working hours are primarily during weekday daytime. The position may involve work-related travel and training at other locations. Participation in exercise activities may also involve absence and work conducted outside regular hours.
