Your Role
At Saab Dynamics and Underwater Systems we are growing and need more team members! Right now we are seeking strategic purchasers for our wonderful teams with workplace locations in Linköping or Solna. Here you'll have the chance to work in a procurement team with strong business focus, great commitment, and high drive!
As a strategic purchaser with us, you will work closely with your supplier team, program, and project managers. We consider a business-oriented mindset important in this role, and it is also beneficial to be familiar with supplier market challenges and opportunities. The work includes ensuring compliance with Saab's procurement strategy, being a supplier responsible contact, and negotiating and drafting supplier agreements. Travel is included in the position.
Work Responsibilities:
* Lead the evaluation of potential new suppliers and manage and develop the existing supplier base.
* Be responsible for negotiating, actively managing, and further developing our suppliers and supplier agreements.
* Establish and continuously develop strategies for your supplier base and implement these.
* Lead functional teams focused on efficiency and cost savings.
* Support business area projects and programs with commercial responsibility and continuously evaluate market competitiveness of the current supplier portfolio.

Your Profile
You have experience in strategic purchasing and as a person are structured and accustomed to effectively collaborating with team members and other stakeholders. You have the ability to quickly adapt to new conditions and contexts and can act pragmatically with great sense of responsibility for processes and results. You are proactive and not only come up with new ideas but can also implement them.
Your work will be done in both Swedish and English, making good English skills a prerequisite. Having significant technical interest and understanding of complex systems and advanced products is meritorious. Experience with contract writing and ability to assess risks in different contractual arrangements is also advantageous.
You have a university degree in a relevant field such as logistics, purchasing, economics, law, or alternatively extensive documented purchasing experience.

A positive basic attitude is important for success in the role, as well as good communication skills. Therefore, we are seeking someone who sees opportunities and solutions instead of problems and obstacles. Someone who dares to be creative while working within existing structures.
