ABOUT THE POSITION: In the role of Strategic Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal business solutions. You will be commercially responsible for strategic suppliers and drive purchasing activities for both standard components and custom-designed products. The focus will be on establishing and improving supplier agreements, ensuring supplier performance, and supporting the operational purchasing organization. The team consists of both operational and strategic buyers with many years of experience, working closely with the company's other departments and suppliers on a daily basis.
You will, for example:
• Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers and internal stakeholders within production, product management, and product design.
• Drive procurements and negotiate supplier agreements.
• Identify and analyze cost structures to optimize purchasing.
• Support the operational purchasing organization by managing supplier-related escalations.
• Contribute to strategic purchasing initiatives, such as supply chain localization.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
• Has a post-secondary education in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or equivalent.
• Has at least two years of work experience in strategic purchasing within the industry.
• Has a technical interest and thrives in a technical environment.
• Has a proven ability to drive effective supplier relationships.
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work.
As a person, we would like you to be skilled at working independently and capable of taking your own initiative in interactions with current and potential suppliers. You are business-oriented with excellent communication skills and should be able to work strategically with a strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction, as well as being attentive.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT: This is a consulting assignment with a chance for extension. This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship.
