This is a long-term consulting assignment through Jefferson Wells with a very good opportunity for a permanent position with the client for the right person. The position is located in one of the region's most innovative technology and production environments, with the possibility of remote work two days a week.
About the Role
You will be part of a purchasing organization that works with complex system solutions and advanced machine components. Here, you will drive both strategic and operational purchasing processes and collaborate closely with design, production, project management, and commercial functions.
The environment is characterized by international supply chains, technical development projects, and long-term product programs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Supplier responsibility and strategic partnerships
* Supplier evaluations and risk assessments
* Requests for quotations, bid evaluations, and negotiations
* Development and implementation of procurement strategies
* Contract work and management of cross-functional projects
* Target cost management
* Operational purchasing such as purchase orders and license renewals
* Opportunity for remote work two days per week.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
* University degree in industrial economics, purchasing, engineering, or equivalent experience
* Several years of experience in machine purchasing or technically advanced procurement
* Experience in qualified commercial roles
* Comfortable leading and communicating in cross-functional teams
* Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience from defense-related or security-classified industries
* Experience in purchasing, contracts, negotiation, or project management
* Good system skills, preferably SAP and Excel
* Experience in indirect purchasing or complex technical procurements
