We are now establishing Sigma Technology Engineering – a new business area within Sigma Technology Group focused on supporting and leading roles in technology, systems, and supply chain.

Currently, we are seeking strategic purchasers who want to contribute to creating efficient and sustainable supplier relationships.
As a consultant with us, you will be matched with assignments where you will work on supplier selection, contract negotiations, purchasing strategies, and the long-term development of purchasing processes and partnerships.
We value your experience in building structure, driving improvements, and creating business value in collaboration with technology and quality organizations. Our assignments are carried out either on-site with clients or together with other Sigma colleagues at one of our centrally located offices.
Basic Qualifications
We believe you are a good fit for the role if you:
• Have a strong interest in business and a good understanding of purchasing and supplier strategies, logistics flows, and supply chain processes.
• Hold a post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, logistics, or engineering.
• Are curious, communicative, and relationship-oriented – and thrive in collaboration with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Are articulate in both spoken and written communication, in Swedish as well as English.
• Work in a structured, analytical, and methodical manner, even in a fast-paced environment.
• Are driven and proactive – you are eager to take initiative, see the big picture, and find solutions that create long-term value for both clients and suppliers.
We work closely with our clients, and a B driver's license is a prerequisite.
Personal Skills, Attributes, Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in purchasing or similar roles with many points of contact, both internally and externally.
• Previous work in project form, preferably in collaboration with other departments such as production, logistics, or finance.
• Familiarity with managing multiple parallel supplier relationships and negotiations.
• Experience working in business systems or purchasing tools (e.g., SAP, IFS, Visma, Mercell, or similar).
• Experience from the manufacturing industry or technology- or logistics-intensive operations is a plus.
