At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of the major societal issues of our time – migration. We are approximately 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job!
As a Strategic HR Partner, you will belong to the HR department and be a member of the management team for one of the agency's regions or departments, where you will act as a business-oriented strategic support to management with your broad HR expertise.
With a holistic perspective on HR and the operations you support, you will contribute to influencing direction, priorities, development, and goal fulfillment.
You will drive or support HR processes, operational planning, and goal management based on the agency's objectives and strategies, while also listening to and identifying needs with a focus on operational results. You will serve as a link between the operational needs and the HR department and will work closely with other strategic HR partners as well as other HR expert areas to achieve the agency's mission.
The HR department assists managers in building competence and confidence in their roles as employers, becoming as effective leaders as possible, and creating a high level of trust in us as an employer. In dialogue with the operations, we create sustainable and effective guidelines, working methods, and HR processes that support managers and employees, and promote present leadership based on our core values and the principles of public service.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Provide advisory or driving support to the management team in strategic HR issues, such as talent acquisition, work environment, leadership, and organizational changes.
- Capture, analyze, and translate needs into HR activities within the framework of operational and implementation plans.
- Contribute to development and planning work within HR as well as in cross-functional assignments and projects.
- Initiate the establishment of processes and methods within the HR area in the operations and take responsibility for their implementation.
- Support managers in complex HR issues and contribute to a holistic view, experience sharing, and learning among managers.
About you:
You are an experienced and professional HR partner with high strategic and analytical abilities and possess broad HR expertise. You have well-developed collaborative skills and contribute to an environment of learning, psychological safety, and high engagement. You are comfortable in relationships with senior management and have a strong desire to understand different perspectives. You show care, value dialogue, are both receptive and clear in your communication, and can argue for various decisions in a complex environment. You have the courage to clarify expectations, stand by your opinions, and both give and receive constructive feedback. You can lead the advancement of various HR-related issues in the management team and take responsibility for the overall picture. You have a coaching approach and can inspire managers through various challenges. You are driven by goal and results-oriented thinking in prioritization, planning, and actions, and are flexible when goals or conditions change.

Requirements:
- Academic education in HR, personnel, or behavioral science, or other education combined with relevant experience for the position.
- Several years of experience working as an HR Business Partner, Senior HR Partner, HR Manager, or equivalent role.
- Experience in leading, coaching, and developing managers and leaders in daily operations as well as in management teams.
- Experience working with strategic talent acquisition.
- Good knowledge, understanding, and practical experience of labor law issues and negotiations, as well as knowledge of the Co-Determination Act (MBL) and its procedures.
- Good knowledge in the area of work environment.
- Experience working in public sector organizations.
- You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
Meritorious:
- Experience in a driving role within HR operational development or change management, transition, and project management.
- Experience working in a management team at a strategic level.
- Knowledge of trust-based leadership and governance.
Employment conditions:
- Employment type: Permanent, with a six-month probationary period.
- Scope: Full-time.
- Location: Norrköping.
- Start date: By agreement.
- Salary: Individual salary setting.
