As a strategic occupational therapist with us, you will be involved in our preventive work, collaborating with our various operations where you will support them in systematic preventive efforts. For example, through coaching in person-centered rehabilitation and rehabilitative approaches, planning health-promoting activities, and conducting individual activity assessments related to the caseworker's investigative work.

The role offers excellent opportunities for you to engage in areas you are particularly passionate about and to develop the operations as a whole.
Your work will be in close collaboration with other professionals such as social workers, unit managers, department heads, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists within the Rehabilitation Unit, dietitians, dementia nurses, nurses, and care staff.
In our municipality, there are great opportunities for you to help us think innovatively and to develop the content of this new position together with us.
We offer a pleasant workplace with many helpful and cheerful colleagues. We strive to add a touch of gold to our workday, and our meetings often bring good laughter, enthusiasm, and participation.
QUALIFICATIONS
We require that you are a licensed occupational therapist, enjoy working with people, and meet each individual based on their specific needs.
You have solid theoretical and practical knowledge in rehabilitative methods/approaches and experience in mentoring and training others. We will place emphasis on your experience in motivational work, so training and/or experience in motivational interviewing is advantageous.
Experience in municipal rehabilitation and preventive work is also meritorious. Please describe in your application how you have worked with this in the past!
We would like you to have experience working in Mina Planer and to recognize the value of our collaborative teamwork focused on the unique patient.
You have good computer skills and experience with operational systems (we use Treserva), as well as experience documenting based on ICF and KVÅ in medical records systems and familiarity with writing certificates. Experience with the MyLoc ordering system is also preferred.
As a person, you are committed, attentive, and comfortable working independently and making your own decisions, but you also have the ability to collaborate and share knowledge and information. You are communicative with a good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing, as well as creative with a strong interest in development and improving services for our residents.
To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be an analytical and reflective person with strong strategic, pedagogical, and administrative skills.
