Personal Security Strategist

Position: Personal Safety Strategy Specialist About the City Executive Office The City Executive Office is the administrative body of the city council. We are responsible for managing, monitoring, and developing the city's operations based on the vision and budget decided by the city council. We are approximately 350 employees primarily working on strategic issues of great importance to the city's operations. About the Role We are seeking a strategist in personal safety who wants to help develop and strengthen our work protecting individuals, both elected officials and employees, against harassment, threats, and violence. The position is within the Operational Protection Unit, which handles the city's responsibility for mobile security guards, personal safety, city hall security, camera surveillance, and welfare crime investigations. The unit is in an intensive development phase related to the current global situation, crime trends, and upcoming election year. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement personal safety guidelines, action plans, and procedures - Conduct and quality assure threat and risk analyses - Ensure preventive and incident-related personal safety measures - Contribute to technical security solutions procurement and follow-up - Represent the city in regional and national networks - Collaborate with public authorities, including Police - Contribute to organizational security training and awareness Required Qualifications: - Academic degree in security, criminology, or relevant field - Experience developing strategic security documentation - Knowledge of relevant legislation - Excellent Swedish and good English communication skills - Ability to analyze and critically assess information - Strong collaboration and independent work skills - High stress tolerance Additional Requirements: - Swedish citizenship - Approved security screening We offer a supportive work environment, professional development opportunities, and the chance to contribute to creating a sustainable, safe, and just city for all.
