Within the Business and Project Financing unit, we are a team that works together to help the region's companies grow and thrive. We manage the state’s regional growth funds and ensure they are used where they can provide the greatest benefit – for businesses, projects, and the overall development of the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a strategist in business support with us, you will create conditions for collaboration, new knowledge, and a strong future. The role is central to ensuring that business support is used effectively, legally, and where it provides the greatest benefit for companies, the business community, and the entire region's development.
You will have a varied and developing role where you work both strategically and operationally. You will prepare applications for business support, inform about our offerings, and guide companies, municipalities, and other stakeholders through the entire process. You will be out in the region, building relationships and marketing our opportunities, always with the company’s and the region’s long-term development in focus.
The role also includes responsibility for administration, financial review, disbursement, and follow-up of approved support. You will actively contribute to developing our working methods and processes, both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues, and work closely with the business offices in the region's municipalities.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a higher education degree in economics or other education and experience that we consider equivalent.
You have worked with business and industry issues and have a good understanding of the conditions and development needs of companies. To succeed in this role, you need to have solid knowledge in finance and accounting, as well as the ability to work in a structured, analytical, and independent manner.
You enjoy meeting people and find it easy to build trusting relationships with companies, municipalities, and other stakeholders. The role requires good digital competence and the ability to express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
We place great importance on your personal qualities and are particularly looking for someone who is collaborative, communicative, and has a genuine commitment to sustainable regional development.
