As a radiation protection technician with us, you will play a central role in protecting people, facilities, and the environment from radiation at one of Sweden's most advanced nuclear reactors, Oskarshamn 3.
What will you be working on?
• Conducting radiation protection measurements, controls, and risk assessments.
• Planning and following up on radiation protection measures in connection with maintenance, inspections, and operations.
• Providing advice and training on radiation protection issues to colleagues and contractors.
• Contributing to the development of routines, methods, and safety culture.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with previous experience working with radiation protection at one of Sweden's nuclear facilities. You have a genuine interest in technology and safety, and thrive in an environment with high demands for quality and precision.
We would like you to have:
• Education as a Radiation Protection Technician, Category A.
• Experience in handling and issuing protection permits is particularly advantageous.
• A good understanding of safety work and the ability to document according to procedures.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team, with a focus on collaboration and responsibility.
As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and have a strong safety awareness. We believe you enjoy both independent work and teamwork, and you have the ability to establish trust and connections across various parts of the organization, as your work relies on effective cross-functional collaboration. You should be comfortable communicating verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
