We are looking for a licensed nurse who possesses strong skills in Swedish and English. It is considered an asset if you speak additional languages and have experience in surgical operations and outpatient work. To thrive in this role, you need to be independent and stable, with strong collaboration skills and an empathetic approach. What you will be working on The surgical outpatient clinic at Sunderby Hospital is part of the Division of Surgery and Diagnostics, within the area of General Surgery/Urology. Together with a colleague, you will be the central point for stoma care in the region, based in Sunderbyn. You will work with patients pre- and post-operatively, as well as during the recovery process after discharge from the hospital. For some patients, you will maintain a longer-term relationship. The position also includes providing telephone advice to both patients and healthcare staff, educating patients and their relatives, and consulting with other entities. You will be responsible for prescribing medication to your patients and play a role in the development of stoma care. The job also involves close collaboration with the lower gastro team, where you will have the opportunity to influence your work.
