About this role
Hultsfred Municipality's contact center works to provide residents, business owners, visitors, and employees with quicker responses to inquiries and assistance with simpler matters. In the contact center, municipal guides work with extensive knowledge of the municipality's operations. Hultsfred Municipality is now seeking a municipal guide for our contact center.
Who are you?
As a municipal guide, you will be part of a team with several colleagues sharing the same mission. In many ways, you will be the face of the municipality, as your interactions and the assistance you provide are often the first contact for those wishing to reach the municipality. The role requires great flexibility, capacity, and IT proficiency. You will contribute to the continuous development of our service to residents, business owners, visitors, and employees.
We are looking for someone who enjoys customer contact through digital channels, by phone, and in person. You should have a keen sense of service and approachability towards both customers and colleagues. You are confident and professional, even when meeting people in difficult situations.
We place great importance on you being humble, positive, flexible, and willing to "go the extra mile" when needed. You have good collaborative skills and enjoy working with and for people. You are well-informed and interested in societal issues, viewing criticism and feedback as suggestions for improvement rather than complaints. And – not least – you want to have fun at work!

Education and experience
- Experience in service work in the private or public sector is an advantage.
- A university degree or equivalent education or relevant experience is preferred.
- A strong ability to use IT and search for information is required.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required.
- Proficiency in English is required. Additional language skills are an advantage.
