We are now seeking a Support Pedagogue for Lilla Ingebäcksvägen BmSS!
Lilla Ingebäcksvägen is located in Hisings Kärra, with good public transportation connections.
This is a group housing with 6 residents.
As a Support Pedagogue, you have a key role with overall responsibility for the organization's quality work, methods, and approach. You support and guide your colleagues in daily work around users and their individual needs. In your role, you participate in network meetings with other pedagogues, key personnel, and unit managers from our operations, contributing to strengthening collaboration between disability units. You also collaborate with relatives, guardians, and daily activities to ensure users receive good care, support, and service. Another focus area will be to follow up and develop social documentation in the organization. Part of your role will be to inspire trying new things and daring to explore. As support in your work, you will receive supervision from our method developer and work in consultation with the unit manager on many issues. The work also involves direct user interaction.
The work may sometimes involve challenging behaviors, passive smoking, and contact with pets.
Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Some work may occur at other facilities.

About You
For the Support Pedagogue position, a post-secondary specialization in disability services is required, comprising at least 200 YH credits, 120 university credits, or 60 university credits with two years of work experience with people with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
The position requires previous experience working with people with various functional variations, neuropsychiatric diagnoses, and mental health issues. Experience with social documentation is also a requirement.
It is meritorious if you have experience with AAC (alternative and augmentative communication) and are experienced in leading and mentoring colleagues.
For the assignment, good computer skills and comfort working with various IT support systems are important.
