About Unika Medevigatan Group Home Unika LSS Medevigatan group home is centrally located and focuses on LSS 9:9 person group 1. It is a residence with 5 apartments. We are now looking for an employee who can assume the role of coordinator and support pedagog at our unit. About the Role of Support Pedagogue We are currently seeking an individual who can take on the role of coordinator as well as support pedagogue. As a support pedagogue, you will provide support and services based on the residents' wishes, both at home and during leisure activities. You will contribute to ensuring that each resident has the opportunity for an active and meaningful life. Furthermore, you should be able to recognize each person's individual needs and conduct pedagogical work based on this. You need to be strong in methodology with a focus on individualized support. Inspire, coach, and support your colleagues. As needs vary among users, no day is like the other, which makes for a challenging and exciting job. You will work closely with your colleagues and bear significant responsibility, in consultation with the operations manager, to drive and develop the pedagogical work within the organization. Certain delegated health and medical tasks are included in the work. You will also be responsible for some administrative tasks at the operational level. You will be part of a network of support pedagogues or coordinators with regular meetings a couple of times each semester. About the Role of Coordinator In the role of coordinator, you will primarily work on providing support and services based on the residents' wishes and help individuals have a meaningful everyday life, using a pedagogical approach. This role also includes some supervisory responsibilities. You will engage in administrative tasks such as scheduling, staffing, quality improvements, risk assessments, and documentation. You will work closely with the operations manager and maintain close contact with the staff group. Your role will be central in supporting the daily operations of the organization. You will provide support and services both at home and during leisure activities, while also developing the pedagogical support based on individual needs. The position is full-time at 100% and the working hours will be on a rolling schedule, distributed across mornings, days, evenings, and weekends. The coordinator role is combined with the role of support pedagogue, meaning you will partly work with support interventions alongside our primary individuals in their daily lives. Responsibilities: • Knowledge of methodologies for the target group (AAC, Clear Communication, low-arousal approach) • Good collaboration skills • Experience in planning and prioritizing time and efforts • Computer proficiency • Documentation experience You should possess strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. You should be engaged, flexible, and able to work in a structured manner, solution-focused, and drive development work alongside the manager and colleagues. Qualifications: • Degree from the Support Pedagogue program of at least 200 YH credits or 60 HP within pedagogy • Experience and knowledge of LSS adult target group 1 • Basic knowledge of household tasks such as nutrition and hygiene • Computer proficiency and strong skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written It is a merit if you also have: • Experience in workforce management • Knowledge of Total Communication (TAKK) • Experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behaviors • Experience working with individuals facing complex psychosocial behavioral issues • Experience in clear communication and low-arousal approach We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
