About this role

We are seeking an experienced support pedagogue for a special assignment to strengthen quality, structure, and shared approach in working with individuals with mental disabilities and comorbidities. About the Job As a support pedagogue with a special assignment, you will be part of the management team and collaborate closely with support pedagogues, employees, and leadership. In this role, you will combine practical work in the operations with strategic development work in the organization. The position is located in our facilities in northeastern Gothenburg. The role includes, among other things: - Supporting support pedagogues in work with implementation plans, documentation, and methodological issues. - Working consultatively and in close collaboration with method developers to strengthen and develop pedagogical work. - Conducting targeted interventions and providing concrete support at units when needed. - Participating in management groups with unit managers and operations manager, and participating in strategic forums. - Contributing to the introduction of new support pedagogues and providing support during vacancies. - Responsible for and leading regular meetings with support pedagogues within each management group. - Following up and developing routines, templates, and methods for an equivalent and quality-assured approach. - Following developments in the pedagogical field and introducing new knowledge into the operations. - Functioning as a link between support pedagogues, units, and management group to ensure good communication, shared goals, and a quality-assured approach for the current target group. Qualifications For the support pedagogue position, a post-secondary specialization in the disability field is required, comprising at least 200 vocational education points, 120 higher education credits, or 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. We are seeking someone with several years of experience working with individuals with mental disabilities and comorbidities. You have previously worked as a support pedagogue or in an equivalent role. You are accustomed to leading groups and thrive in a role where you both support and inspire others. You have good knowledge of pedagogical methods and approaches: LAB (Low Affective Approach), MI (Motivational Interviewing), IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus), ESL (An Independent Life), and Clarifying Pedagogy. It is important that you have good computer skills and are comfortable working with various IT support. You need to be proficient in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, which means meeting the requirements of approved grades in Swedish 1, Swedish as a Second Language 1, or equivalent. Those who do not meet the qualification requirements may be offered a language test through the test provider Educateit. Experience in leading operational meetings, coaching work groups, and contributing to development towards a shared approach is considered meritorious. Selection and interviews will begin during the application period. In this recruitment, you will be asked to answer questions describing your knowledge in the field.
