About the Position As a Support Assistant, your primary task is to assist individuals with disabilities by providing individually tailored support and services, ensuring that each individual has an active and stimulating daily life. The goal is for the individual to be as independent and participating as possible based on their abilities and circumstances. You will act as one of the most important people in our clients' lives, always adapting your approach to their individual needs. As a Support Assistant at Solbacka Gård, you will work to provide customized support and services to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their quality of life in accordance with the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). We employ according to the BoDa model, which involves close collaboration between Group Housing and Daily Activities, allowing employees to work between the two sectors to provide continuity. This position is a BoDa role, where you will work daytime shifts at Solbacka Gård and Daily Activities, with evening shifts, weekends, and on-call shifts taking place at Solbacka Gård. The position is intended to be a permanent employment agreement, preferably starting December 1. Work shifts include daytime, evening, weekend, and on-call. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning, reflecting upon, implementing, documenting, and following up on the support, care, and well-being of clients based on support decisions and implementation plans. - Collaborating with the clients' representatives, case managers, and other support functions/services. - Performing tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) based on delegation from a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist. - Assisting clients with leisure activities and day trips, such as visits to Skansen, trips to Åland, car meetings, as well as accompanying them on doctor visits, coffee outings, and trips to the hairdresser. About You For this position, you need: - A high school education: healthcare and nursing program specializing in disability or assistant nursing training with a focus on special needs. - Experience working with the target group under LSS. - Good knowledge of social documentation. - Proficiency in Swedish—both spoken and written. - Knowledge and experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). It is an advantage if you also have: - Experience working with a low-key approach to prevent aggression and violence. - Knowledge of the functional perspective. - Knowledge of IBIC (Individual Based Integrated Care). - A valid driver's license and driving experience.
