JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now seeking an employee who will work as a resource in our daily activities within Östra Göinge Municipality.
This means you will have a base unit from which you work and will assist other units when needed.
You will cover for daily activity staff during their absence or where additional support is required. This demands that you are flexible and enjoy challenges and quick adaptations. Our daily activities currently offer various participant activities such as: media, gardening, handyman services, sensory stimulation, industrial work, assembly work, walks, municipal cafeteria, excursions, vehicle care, tasks in collaboration with various municipal companies, and much more, based on individual needs. You should be able to meet participants according to their individual needs and work with both care and support services.
Your role as a support assistant also includes documentation and collaboration with colleagues to ensure participants receive their services and achieve their set goals.
We work with the individual's needs at the center.
QUALIFICATIONS
We want you to have a degree in Healthcare and Social Care Program with a disability focus, or Child and Leisure Program with a professional exit in support and service within the disability area (social work), or other education the employer deems equivalent.
We are seeking an employee with experience working in daily activities.
As a person, you are calm, secure, and flexible, and are a responsible, self-driven, and structured individual.
You are creative with the ability to convey fundamental security to others. You have pedagogical insight, a holistic view, and are a good communicator. Furthermore, you are solution-focused, attentive, and easily collaborate with others, striving to maintain a positive team atmosphere. You have patience and can sense the user's mood.
We place great importance on personal suitability.
We require good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Good computer skills; experience with Treserva or similar operational systems is meritorious
A driver's license with manual transmission is required for the position.
