Work Tasks
As a support assistant at the LSS residential facility on Callejungbecksgatan, you will work to support residents in their daily lives.
Your mission is to strengthen the individual's self-determination, security, and participation. Work tasks are varied and can range from helping with daily routines such as meals, hygiene, and household chores, to supporting social activities and functioning as a link to society at large.
You will work based on residents' implementation plans and continuously develop work methods and interventions to help residents achieve their goals. Together with other staff, you are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the activities.
You will work with available technical and pedagogical aids and use alternative augmentative communication to support your work.
The overall goal is to keep the resident's needs at the center and continuously adapt support to make it meaningful for the resident, always working in the resident's best interest.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with a professional qualification from the healthcare and care program, child and leisure program, or other equivalent education as assessed by the employer, with at least one year of experience working in LSS activities. Experience with clarifying pedagogy, TEECH method, and alternative and augmentative communication (TAKK) is meritorious.

You must be able to perform heavy lifting and care work.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.

About the Workplace
Calleljungbecksgatan is an LSS residential facility with 6 residents. We have residents of varying ages with significant differences in their support needs. The facility employs two support pedagogues and a care pedagogue. We work in teams around the residents to promote the development of work methods and interventions.
