The position of diocesan assistant for priest recruitment is located in the unit of Faith and Life, which currently has 13 employees in various roles promoting worship, education, diaconate, and mission. This includes areas such as recruitment, worship development, church music, baptism and confirmation, Sámi church life, pilgrimage, institutional pastoral care, spiritual care, the Church of Sweden's youth, and idealism.
**Job Responsibilities**
As the diocesan assistant for priest recruitment, your primary task is to support priest students throughout their education. You will conduct individual conversations with priest students, lead parts of the diocese's training, maintain contact with educational institutions and at the national level, and be responsible for administrative tasks related to the students.
You will coordinate work in a team with other colleagues involved in recruitment for church service. Together, you will plan and implement the diocese's commitments related to the students, such as internship courses, internship placements, admission conferences, ordination weekends, and more. An important partner is the bishop, who is ultimately responsible for the admission and ordination of priests and deacons.
You will be part of the diocese's development work for future strategic competence supply and will, for example, develop and enhance external initiatives aimed at promoting the church's profile professions.
**Qualifications**

You find it easy to collaborate with others and have the ability to be self-driven, as well as to plan, organize, and structure work effectively. We place great importance on personal suitability.
**Requirements**
- Ordained as a priest in the Church of Sweden
- Solid experience working as a priest in a parish
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
- Valid driver's license (B)
**Meritorious**
- Experience in a coordinating role for operations or pastoral development work

**Working Hours/Place of Employment:**
This is a permanent full-time position based at the diocesan chancery in Härnösand. The main working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. Travel may be required, sometimes involving overnight stays. Start date is negotiable.
