**Main Responsibilities and Tasks**
The Adult Education Clinic, with over 65 employees, is marked by creativity, development, engagement, continuous learning, and offers a stimulating environment where knowledge and experience are utilized in the best possible way.
Teaching is primarily conducted in an integrated subject format in close collaboration with the Department of Odontology, where theoretical education takes place. The teaching staff consists of several teams with dental nurses, general dentists, dental hygienists, and specialists, all of whom guide students together.
You will work closely with both general and specialist dentists, dental hygienists, dental nurses, and students. Some supervision in hygiene matters may be included, which requires a sense of service and pedagogical ability.
The educational clinics and Specialist Dental Care in Gothenburg, located at Odontologen, constitute Folktandvården's university dental care. This means that the clinic actively participates in the training of dentists and dental hygienists, contributes to dental research, and is part of the development of dental care throughout the region.
We are flexible regarding the degree of employment and view positively the possibility of combining a position with us with your own clinical practice, for example, in General Dental Care. (Combined position)
**Competence Requirements and Profile**
We would like you to be or have the ability to:
- Be a trained sterilization technician or dental nurse with an education from MYH (The Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education)
- Have an interest in supervision and a desire to work in an inspiring environment alongside students
- Possess knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form
- Organize and prioritize work effectively and wisely
- Present a stable and calm impression even when there is a lot to do
- Collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
- Contribute to the development of the organization by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.
We are looking for a sterilization technician or dental nurse with an interest in hygiene and sterilization issues to join our dedicated team. Work in the sterilization area requires good knowledge of basic hygiene routines and sterilization technical equipment. It is an independent and varied job where accuracy is crucial.
If you are a trained dental nurse, assistance and other customary dental nurse tasks may also occur to a lesser extent.
**About the Recruitment Process**
After the application period ends, the clinic manager will select candidates and invite them for an interview at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled to take place during weeks 49-50.
