The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic is located at Falu Hospital and is co-located with Orofacial Medicine and Dental Radiology. Our sterilization unit handles materials from these departments, where both traditional dental care and surgical care are provided. The sterilization unit is staffed by sterilization technicians. As we have transitioned from three staff members to two, we now need to strengthen our staffing back to three. The total staff at the clinic is approximately 50 people. Close collaboration also takes place with other departments at the hospital. We operate during daytime hours.

Job Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and sterilizing instruments, managing and maintaining the machinery. You will also be responsible for inventory management in the sterilization storage and supplying the departments with clean materials. You will perform functional checks, inspect, and maintain instruments. You will liaise with technicians and handle purchases.

We are looking for someone with an approved education as a sterilization technician. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You are flexible, meticulous, and responsible.
