The municipality is organized into an administration with four sectors. The Social Services Sector includes four operations: special housing/community health care, individual and family care, ordinary housing/personal assistance, and disability services.
We operate around the clock with a driven and competent team consisting of nursing assistants, care aides, nurses, rehabilitation staff, administrators, service personnel, and unit managers. Together, we are ONE TEAM. Our shared focus is to create a safe environment based on good and secure care. One of our goals is to offer individuals a meaningful existence where rehabilitation and quality of life are central to daily life, based on participation and each person's physical abilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Do you want to work to create safety, care, and quality of life for the elderly?
We are currently seeking a nursing assistant for a permanent full-time position. You will be part of our staffing pool and work in various departments within the elderly care facility, providing you with a varied and developing daily routine.
An important part of the job is to create a meaningful everyday life for each individual, where you consider each care recipient's unique needs and circumstances. As a nursing assistant, you place the care recipient at the center and always strive to achieve the best possible interaction.
You will work based on implementation plans and support individuals in personal, practical, and existential matters.
Employment in the pool will be based on Appendix D, which means that the employee will have a work schedule that specifies days off and the main extension of working hours, a so-called normal schedule.
Salary supplements apply to employees in the pool.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• Nursing assistant training or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• A strong ability to meet people professionally and attentively, with a particular understanding of individual needs, especially important in our dementia units where interactions need to be adapted to each person's unique situation.
• Broad experience in care work and a secure, calm working style with a clear user focus.
• Flexibility and adaptability, as you will work in different units with varying needs and circumstances.
• Engagement in everyday rehabilitation; you are skilled at motivating residents to maintain their abilities and independence.
• Innovative thinking and the courage to try new working methods.
• A humble attitude and a willingness to both acquire new knowledge and share your own; we are a learning organization where we develop together.
• Good computer skills and the ability to document clearly and accurately. You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
• Knowledge of applicable legislation and familiarity with national guidelines for care and support in dementia.
• A positive attitude and good humor; you contribute to a positive atmosphere in the workgroup and want to help develop the organization in a positive direction.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Before employment can be offered, you must present an acceptable extract from the police criminal record.
The position is permanent and full-time.
