Stenungsunds Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,030 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential environments near the sea, and excellent communication opportunities. The municipality is organized into one administration with four sectors. The Education Sector encompasses preschools and primary schools with associated childcare, special education, high school, adult education, and Culture and Leisure.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a childcare worker, you will work to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool. Together with the rest of the team, you will design the pedagogical activities. You will work to provide safe care and stimulate children's development and learning.
The assignment involves collaborating with preschool teachers to plan, implement, document, and evaluate preschool activities. Together, we work towards the goals outlined in curriculum, school law, and municipal policy documents. Your work will be characterized by clear respect for individuals and good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues.
In Stenungsunds Municipality's preschools, the focus is on action research, digitalization, language, and intercultural education. Your role is to ensure and contribute to high-quality teaching. For us, this means working in accordance with goals to strengthen children's right to play, learn, develop, feel secure, and have fun in preschool.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a trained childcare worker or someone with another pedagogical education. You are positive and communicate easily with children, colleagues, and guardians. It is important to us that you have a reflective approach to your profession and want to help develop the organization based on our policy documents.
