As a Station Host on commuter trains, you are a crucial part of our passengers' experience. You are the public face who contributes to creating safety, clarity, and friendly service at the station.
Your Upcoming Role
As a Station Host, you work closely with our passengers, helping them with everything from ticket purchases to travel information. You staff service counters, are available at gates and platforms, and serve as a visible and accessible resource for our customers. You help create a positive atmosphere and ensure every passenger feels welcome.
Your Tasks Include:
• Meeting passengers with a professional and friendly approach
• Assisting customers with ticket purchases and travel information
• Staffing service counters and being visible throughout the station
• Handling customer inquiries and providing support during service disruptions
• Proactively working to create a safe and secure environment
We are seeking employees who can be based on the southern side of the commuter train network. This means working at all stations from central Stockholm down to Gnesta and Nynäshamn.
Position Requirements
This is an hourly position with varying work hours – morning, evening, night, and weekend. Some shifts may start as early as 4 AM, sometimes at stations far from your residence before public transportation begins. Therefore, you must be able to independently transport yourself to and from work, even when public transit is limited. A driver's license and access to a car are advantageous.
To be considered, you must be:
• Enrolled as a student
• Have passed high school courses in Swedish, English, and Mathematics
• Proficient in Swedish and English communication, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
• Customer service or shift work experience
• Driver's license (B-class) and car access
