Experienced Damage Mechanic for a Reputable Workshop in Växjö
Adacto People is now seeking an experienced damage mechanic for one of our clients' modern and well-equipped workshops in Växjö. This is a direct recruitment, meaning you will be employed directly by our client – a stable and well-known player in the heavy vehicle sector.

About the Role
As a damage mechanic for trucks, you will work on repairs and maintenance of heavy vehicles. You will have a varied job where you handle everything from troubleshooting and disassembly to repair, alignment, and assembly of damaged truck components.
The work requires both technical competence, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills – as well as a willingness to contribute to a positive atmosphere and high quality in the workshop.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has documented experience in truck repairs
- Is a trained truck mechanic or vehicle damage sheet metal worker (a strong interest is equally acceptable!)
- Is meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented
- Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working in a team
- Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written – a requirement
- Has experience in repairing, aligning, and filling vehicles
- Experience working with Scania trucks is an advantage
