About this role

Cleaning Area 1 and 3 The cleaning unit provides daily cleaning in the Region's facilities, such as schools and healthcare establishments. The area being cleaned corresponds to more than 40 football fields and is distributed across over 300 different cleaning locations. The unit has cleaning assignments from Fårösund in the north to Burgsvik in the south. We are currently seeking substitutes for cleaning in Healthcare within Cleaning Area 1 primarily at Visby Hospital and Korpen. Cleaning Area 3 is looking for individuals who want to work in cleaning within preschools, schools, and also has cleaning tasks within the Region's other facilities such as gymnasiums and offices. Cleaning Area 1 operates in Visby, while Cleaning Area 3 operates in southern Gotland and Visby. Right now, we are particularly looking for substitutes for southern Gotland. Cleaning is an essential part of preventing the spread of infection and maintaining good hygiene in our facilities. Your Responsibilities The job involves performing daily cleaning tasks such as mopping floors, dusting, and cleaning sanitary areas. Some machine scrubbing may also be required. The work demands your ability to plan and prioritize your tasks and to collaborate with colleagues, customers, and visitors. Who are you? Your personality is the most important aspect for us! Qualities we place extra value on include responsibility, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor. It is advantageous if you have cleaning training or experience in the cleaning profession. Familiarity with operating cleaning machines is also a plus. Additional credentials such as SRY or equivalent cleaning training are preferred. A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle is a requirement for Cleaning Area 3, but it is an advantage for Cleaning Area 1 since you may be required to travel to multiple work locations throughout the day. Travel compensation will be provided between work locations. In Cleaning Area 1, the work usually starts early in the morning, with most shifts beginning at 5:30 AM. In Cleaning Area 3, the typical start time is around 6:00 AM. Selection for interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, so don’t wait to submit your application!
