As the head of our new staff unit, you will be a key person in creating favorable conditions for the entire authority's work. **Job Responsibilities** As the head of the staff unit, you will play a central role in building and shaping a new unit that consolidates the County Administrative Board's work on security, premises, IT security, and other internal services. Your mission is to create structure, cohesion, and clarity in an operation that is crucial for the authority to function safely, securely, and effectively. You will have responsibility for personnel, budget, and work environment, and lead a team with diverse competencies and assignments, from custodians to strategists. In this role, you will combine strategic development work with operational responsibility and contribute to establishing common working methods, stability, and direction in a changing environment. A significant part of the mission is to collaborate, both internally with other units and management functions, and externally with partners—to create effective, sustainable, and well-founded solutions that contribute to the whole. **About the Workplace** The staff unit is a new part of the County Administrative Board's organization, focusing on and responsible for security, premises, IT security, and overarching issues that contribute to a safe and functioning operation. The unit will consist of a group with broad competencies and assignments ranging from the strategic to the practical. We envision that the work of the staff unit will be characterized by service, collaboration, and a long-term perspective. **Want to Know More?** Please feel free to contact us for more information. **Qualifications** - Relevant academic degree or equivalent work experience - Several years of leadership experience, preferably in a staff or support function - Good understanding of how government organizations operate - Experience in change management and business development - Knowledge in security issues, property matters, or IT security - Experience as a security protection manager or strong knowledge of security protection It is advantageous if you have: - Experience leading teams with both strategic and operational tasks - Management and leadership training of various scopes - Experience collaborating and cooperating with other authorities **Personal Attributes** As a leader, you are confident, unpretentious, and able to switch between the big picture and details.
