To meet future needs and develop our claims operations, we are now seeking a Head of Claims Staff. We are looking for someone who wants to drive and lead change and development, and contribute to our continued growth journey.
About the Role
Your task will be to create the conditions for and develop a future-proof and efficient claims handling process together with the team. You will manage and develop a group consisting of investigators, lawyers, security manager, and claims analysts. This work includes personnel planning, efficiency optimization, and ensuring high-quality delivery. You will work towards uniform and legally secure claims handling and a culture of mutual support and holistic thinking.
As a leader, you are present and engaged, leading with a focus on performance, process development, and change management.
Your responsibilities will also include personally investigating complex insurance cases as part of the position, with the scope varying over time depending on workflow and needs. The basic distribution is 50% management and 50% investigation.
You will be a crucial part of our transformation towards an increasingly digitized and automated claims handling process. You will actively participate in the claims management group, contributing to the entire department's development and responsible for taking notes and reporting to the Claims Business Area Manager.
Who Are You?
We are seeking someone currently working in a leadership role, or with previous leadership experience, preferably in insurance, investigation, or related fields. You are curious and bold about developing work methods, processes, and employees. You have strong implementation power and are confident in decision-making.
You are a good listener who can create an inclusive culture and be a role model who acknowledges and celebrates successes. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are comfortable handling complex and sometimes difficult conversations.
You plan and structure your work independently and have the ability to combine result-orientation with high customer focus. Experience in administrative work is an advantage, as the position is partially administrative in nature. We appreciate experience in investigative work, process development, change management, and building networks both internally and externally.
