About Dalregementet The Swedish Armed Forces defend Sweden, its interests, our freedom, and right to live as we choose. The establishment of Dalregementet is part of building Swedish defense capabilities. Until the regiment is fully developed, including a new regimental area, operations will be characterized by continuous development and change. Working methods will evolve over time to adapt to the growing organization and its activities. About the Implementation Section We primarily work on coordinating tasks for the current year. This includes leading and coordinating activities, giving orders to regimental units, and coordinating regimental staff departments. Overall, the section works to ensure the unit's operations align with higher management's objectives and implementation plan. The Position Offers As a staff assistant in the implementation section, you'll gain deep insight into the regiment's ongoing and upcoming activities. Your primary task is to support the section and regimental staff with administrative work. The work is varied and sometimes characterized by a high tempo. The position provides insight into regimental leadership and is well-suited for those interested in potentially becoming a professional military officer in the future. Primary Responsibilities • Support the implementation section with administrative tasks • Prepare for and participate in internal and external section and regimental staff meetings • Manage ongoing administrative services and general tasks for the section • Serve as a staff assistant in daily staff work • Contribute with individual responsibility in producing section materials (typically meeting minutes, briefings, and follow-up lists) Qualifications • Completed military service or Basic Military Training with approved grades • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Driver's license B • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish Advantageous • Current or previous employment in the Swedish Armed Forces • Experience working in a staff environment • Staff Assistant training • Additional driving certifications Personal Characteristics We seek someone who is organized, flexible, and unpretentious in their approach. You can adapt to changing tempos and independently complete assigned tasks with a solution-oriented mindset. You enjoy administrative work, both individually and in small groups. You like meeting different people and providing service. Personal characteristics will be heavily weighted.
