Psychiatric Clinic Southern Lapland is an outpatient clinic covering all diagnostic groups. Inpatient beds are located in Skellefteå and Umeå. Our team consists of approximately 45 employees, with most staff based at Lycksele Hospital and additional team members across other locations in Southern Lapland. Our clinic works in interdisciplinary teams and frequently utilizes digital communication tools.
You will encounter patients in various life situations and have time to get to know them. The varied work tasks will provide you with broad competence. Despite long distances between our facilities, we maintain close collaborations with short decision-making pathways. We support and care for each other.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Specialist Training Physician with us, you contribute to caring for others and helping people feel better. Here, you will meet patients with all psychiatric diagnoses.
Work tasks follow the specialist training program. In addition to the specialty-specific program, you will participate in EKA training - a program focusing on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and personal reflection for specialist training physicians in Region Västerbotten.
Our clinic works in interdisciplinary teams, often collaborating with patients' families and broader networks. We frequently use digital technology in patient and internal work, which is appreciated by both patients and staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Swedish medical license valid for practice in Swedish healthcare by start date
• Interest in psychiatric specialization
Personal suitability and collaboration skills will be considered.
We require advanced Swedish language skills (C1 level).
