We are currently seeking a driven and committed Deputy Store Manager who wants to play a crucial role in our continued journey. At Rusta, you'll have the chance to make a real difference – every day. In the role of Deputy Store Manager, you'll be the store manager's closest colleague, both in terms of responsibility and daily work. Together, you'll ensure smooth daily operations, and when the store manager is not present, you'll take the lead. You'll inspire and support your colleagues, create structure, and ensure the right things happen at the right time – focusing on both the big picture and the details. You'll function as a secure leader and role model for the team, maintaining order from the cash register to the warehouse, and working to not just meet the store's goals – but to exceed them. All the while, you'll keep the customer at the center and go that extra mile to create a welcoming and positive shopping experience.
You don't need to know everything from the start – we'll teach you! But we believe that you:
• Have a few years of leadership experience in retail, preferably from a business handling large volumes
• Feel comfortable in a leadership role and can think both strategically and forward-looking
• Are naturally clear, direct, and quick to laugh
• Are good at bringing others along – both in day-to-day operations and when things get challenging
• Enjoy a high-energy environment and thrive when a lot is happening
• Have a genuine drive to develop, and perhaps aim to run your own store within a few years
