Special Logistics Group (SLG) is the operational logistics resource within the Swedish Armed Forces Special Operations Command (FMSF), with responsibilities in areas such as logistics management, host nation support, supply chain management, transportation services, and technical services at operational and tactical levels. SLG is also engaged in capability development for unmanned systems to meet the logistics needs of FMSF. SLG operates across the entire conflict spectrum, both nationally and internationally, in collaboration with other parts of FMSF. SLG has locations in both Örebro and Skövde.

**Main Responsibilities**
As the Deputy Logistics Group Leader at SLG, you will lead your team during operations, exercises, and daily activities. The tasks will need to be addressed across the entire conflict spectrum and will vary in nature. Creativity and flexibility are important personal traits to achieve expected results. As the deputy, you will assist and also be prepared to replace the leader in planning and leading material preparations and providing support to other units within FMSF. Your team will work with various methods and modes of transport, including ground transport, air transport, and maritime transport. Acting as an instructor in these areas is also a natural part of your responsibilities.
After completing the selection process, you will initially undergo a training phase for several months before joining one of our operational units as a logistics group leader.
**Qualifications**
- Completed specialist officer training
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Swedish citizenship
**Medical Requirements**
- No serious allergies
- No illnesses requiring continuous or recurring medication/treatment
- Reduced color vision may be accepted
- Acceptable visual acuity, correction allowed
- Normal hearing
**Meritorious**
- Basic officer training (GOU) at LogS or FMTS
- Driver's license categories BE, C, CE, D, DE
- Military driving license for heavy vehicles
- Completed international mission
- Previous experience in logistics positions
- Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
- Proficient in MS Office
- Training/experience in handling hazardous materials
- Civil driving license/ TYA wheel loader
- Forklift license A-B-C

**Selection Process**
Those deemed suitable after the application process will be invited to selection tests. The selection tests are divided into two parts and will take place over approximately seven days at the end of March and in April 2026. The first part is a field-based component lasting three days. Those assessed as suitable after the first part will be invited to a second part, primarily testing the personal, psychological, and medical profile. Information regarding working hours, travel, and equipment will be provided with any invitation to the selection test.
**Other Information**
The position is a military appointment and requires approved officer or specialist officer training. The position is full-time, permanent, with a start date of August 1, 2026, and training commencing on August 3, 2026. The role involves recurring business trips both domestically and internationally.
Work locations are Örebro or Skövde.
