About the Department
Skin and Sexually Transmitted Diseases is part of Area 5 at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
Here, all types of skin and sexually transmitted diseases requiring specialized medical care are treated. The department conducts development projects, teaching, and research.
Job Responsibilities
As a Specialty Training (ST) Physician, you will work interprofessionally with nurses, nursing assistants, biomedical analysts, administrators, and secretaries to provide the right care at the right time. Your primary tasks involve clinical service at the clinic. This includes planning and managing investigations and treatments for inflammatory skin diseases, skin tumors, and sexually transmitted infections. You will work independently with support from experienced colleagues. The role includes mentoring medical students and participating in treatment conferences.
A six-month probationary employment may be applied.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with a Swedish medical license who has completed AT or BT. Proof of medical degree and Swedish medical license must be attached to the application. You should be able to independently structure your work and be flexible according to the situation's requirements. You see the bigger picture, have a problem-solving approach, and value effective team collaboration. You are attentive to your environment and focused on patient needs. You are pedagogical and skilled at communication. Personal suitability will be given significant weight in the appointment.
