Within the Healthcare Administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are gathered in a joint administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Local Healthcare Area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Center for Surgical Operations, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units will work to provide good and close care.
The Psychiatric Clinic consists of approximately 250 employees and offers both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as psychiatric and forensic psychiatric compulsory care. Our clinic has two general psychiatric wards and one addiction care ward. Outpatient services include two adult clinics, a young adult clinic (18-25 years), an addiction clinic, and an emergency and assessment unit. Clinic 3 houses several specialized outpatient teams.
We are now seeking two Specialist Training Doctors who want to be part of a forward-thinking organization where every employee is important to the whole.
DUTIES
As a Specialist Training Doctor with us, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that helps people feel secure.
We encourage our Specialist Training colleagues to be involved in the clinic's development and see it as a matter of course that everyone in the work group contributes and has their own areas of responsibility, even early in their career. The clinic offers all Specialist Training Doctors an individual study plan and scheduled study time.
In addition to the specialty-specific program, you will also participate in the LEKA training. A program focused on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and time for personal reflection for Specialist Training Doctors within Region Västerbotten.
On-call and standby duty is included.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Swedish medical license with the authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare no later than upon commencement. You have an interest in specializing in psychiatry.
We require good Swedish language skills equivalent to level C1.
