Orthopedics Skellefteå provides acute and planned care for patients from across the county in orthopedics. We consist of an orthopedic clinic with scheduled physician visits, cast technicians, wound treatment, and physiotherapists, as well as a care ward. Orthopedic surgeries are performed daily in the operating department, with minor procedures also conducted at the orthopedic clinic.
In our care wards, we work with both pre- and post-operative care and receive emergency cases from the emergency department. Our nursing is characterized by a holistic approach where professionals from various disciplines collaborate for the best results.
We work together in interprofessional teams to save, improve, and extend lives. It is a challenging task that we tackle together.

We are now seeking a Specialist Training Physician for Orthopedics Skellefteå.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Specialist Training Physician with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that helps people feel secure.
Working as a Specialist Training Physician in orthopedics is highly varied and aims to provide you with both broad and advanced competence. We are a clinic that supports each other and actively works to develop our skills and operations. As a Specialist Training Physician, you will actively contribute to further developing the clinic's activities. You will be involved in mentoring other Specialist Training Physicians, medical interns, and other staff categories. You are expected to take on responsibility areas in the later part of your training.
Specialist Training Physicians in orthopedics participate in the national Specialist Training School (ortopedi.se), complemented by trauma-specific training (ATLS, AO). In addition to the specialty-specific program, you will also participate in EKA training - a program focusing on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and personal reflection for Specialist Training Physicians within Region Västerbotten.
The work includes a significant amount of on-call duty.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have Swedish medical authorization with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare no later than upon commencement. You have an interest in specializing in orthopedics.
Personal suitability and collaborative ability will be considered. Research merits are viewed positively.
We require excellent Swedish language skills equivalent to level C1.
